Use SMT’s Interface Statistics view to check connection states, timestamps, and failure counts for every
interface.
4. Heartbeat and Watchdog Tags
Monitor heartbeat tags that update regularly. Lack of updates indicates interface issues. Watchdog logic can trigger alerts.
